POI details

The first part of this hike takes you relaxed through the car-free part of Grächen. Your gaze wanders over playgrounds, traditional buildings and lush flower meadows. In Chäschermatte, follow the signs to the left uphill to the forest. You hike steadily uphill through the refreshing larch forest, along the irrigation channels, following the signposts through the rocky mountain landscape past Plattja to the Seetal mountain station.

From Visp you take the train to St. Niklaus. There you change to the bus, which gets you to Grächen every half hour. On weekends a direct bus operates from Visp to Grächen.
