Information

First, take the post bus from Visp to Moosalp. The route starts at the Moosalp restaurant and first leads for about three kilometers along a relatively wide and flat hiking trail towards Alp Pletsche. An unforgettable view opens up of the impressive mountain ranges of the Saas and Matter valleys with numerous four-thousand-meter peaks. Shortly before Alp Pletsche, the trail turns left and the freeride fun begins. The first section offers a lot of variety and is steeply laid out. Caution is required in exposed places. The route leads windingly over exposed, rocky terrain via Gufersch Bodo to Kalpetran. This second section impresses with its technical passages and tight hairpin bends, which are still fluid to ride for experienced riders. In Kalpetran there is a connection possibility to the Visp–Zermatt trail (No. 150).

Regular rail connections to Visp from across Switzerland. Continue by postal bus to Moosalp. Remember to reserve a place for your mountain bike on the SBB mobile application or on sbb.ch.

Ideally go to Visp.
